Intervention Education
It can be difficult to talk to someone about their alcohol/drug or other addictive behavior. Well-meant efforts often turn into frustrating and unproductive confrontations. Other times no one is able to directly address the issue not knowing how to even begin.
If someone you care about needs help but refuses to accept it, an intervention can be the most loving, healthy, and powerful way to address their self-destructive behavior.
Many families/loved ones who consider intervention never go through with the process because they hear things like:
- The addicted person has to hit bottom or they have to want to get help.
In this workshop, these “myths” will be addressed.
This workshop offers you the opportunity to understand the different types of interventions and be given suggestions as to your next step regarding your loved one.
Addiction always gets worse if not addressed.
